I am running for County Clerk because I have a passion for helping people and serving the community I live in. I feel the strengths I can bring to the Clerks Office are my people skills, which I believe are critical. I work well with my co-workers, the public, Judges, Attorneys and Departments within the County. I will be a hands-on Clerk and work alongside my staff. I will work to strengthen communication and increase transparency between County Departments. I have a strong work ethic and take pride in what I do. I strive to conduct myself in a professional manner, which I feel is very important because I would represent the Island County Superior Court Clerks office as well as Island County.

I believe customer service, Courtroom responsibilities, and document integrity, will always be the forefront of the Clerks office. By focusing on these three areas, the clerks office will be able to serve the community in the most efficient and compassionate way possible.

 

If elected as your County Clerk I would make it my top priority to improve the experience of those that use the Clerks office, whether it be an Attorney, Judge or private citizen.
